Perugia
, the capitol of the Region , is known for one of the most beautiful squares
in the world where the Fontana Maggiore, the Basilica of San Lorenzo and
Palazzo dei Priori (City Hall) can be admired.
Perugia is also famous for its world known chocolate factory "Perugina"
the maker of the BACIO (kiss) chocolates.
Assisi, mostly known for being the birthtown of one of
the most popular Catholic Saints: Saint Francis (born 1180 ca). Walking
the narrow cobbled streets of this village you can breath the atmosphere
of that era ,which is represted in the Frescos by Giotto and Cimabue found
in the Basilica of San Francesco. Also not to miss during your visit are
the Basilicas of Santa Chiara and Santa Maria degli Angeli.
